It is certainly possible to take a picture that tells a story, but I try to find pictures that require the viewer to fill in their own story. These pictures are not the result of arriving at a destination; rather they are gathered on the way to a destination. Walking or driving I suddenly look to my side and there is a little scene that makes me ask “What’s that guy up to?” ” What’s going on over there?” I pull over, take the picture and fill in the blanks later.
